We must finally address the ongoing issue at hand that is our response to COVID-19.
Whilst schools and nurseries remain open, we had decided over the weekend that we would remain in business this week and continue bringing our sensory sessions to you. However, it is with a very heavy heart that we must suspend our sensory sessions. This is with immediate effect and until further notice.
Being a smaller local business, we have to consider the costs both financially and in terms of heath at this time. We always have our little one’s and our families health at the forefront of our concern. With mass gatherings banned and the growing worry of the Coronavirus escalating, we have to think of your safety. Those of you who attend our sessions will be very aware of how seriously we take cleanliness during our sessions. We are very conscious of wiping and disinfecting anything that gets handled during our sessions with antibacterial wipes, and washing other items between and after sessions too.
We completely understand that a lot of mummies, daddies, and families are choosing to self isolate at this time. But unfortunately this does mean that our numbers have dwindled slightly, and from a business perspective we cannot run at a loss if we intend to be here stronger than ever after this all blows over. We are taking responsibility for our duty of care, and for now, that does mean that we can’t bring our sessions to you physically.
HOWEVER, we have been brainstorming of ways we can still help, entertain, and educate you lovely families whilst you may be in isolation.
Minky Moos Live
As a result, we have come up with a new concept of streaming live sensory sessions directly to you. You will be able to view these live streams on your phones, tablets, and televisions starting from next week, the 24th March. These live streams will include all your favourite songs, and will begin with our ‘Hello Song’! We will also be making visits to Arendale with Elsa and Anna, the pond to see Mummy Duck, and into space with our colourful spacemen! This service will be available through Facebook and Youtube LIVE. We will be updating our sensory sessions page with timings for you all to tune in!
We truly appreciate all your support through this difficult time. The upcoming live Sensory Streams will all be completely free of charge! If you feel that the sessions bring an element of fun to your isolation period and enjoy our new content, there will be an option to donate an amount of your choosing through our Go Fund Me page. Again, this is completely optional , but any donations would be greatly appreciated and help keep Minky Moos afloat in this difficult time.
We hope you understand and appreciate our response to COVID-19. We can’t wait to help keep your little ones entertained and engaged in our sensory experiences throughout this period. We’ll be back as soon as we can!
